Need help
Okay- earlier I posted that I got my CL back from the Honda dealership, 1700 dollars. Basically they had to rip out the engine to get to the rings and replace them. When I got my car back, the cruise control no longer worked. I assumed they just forgot to hook something back up, so I took it back for them to fix. They said they dont even touch the cruise control wire and that the unit just failed. HOW CONVIENANT. Anyone know if there is any truth to this or if they are just trying to screw me?
- Also- Last time they told me the surging in RPMs was my dirty injectors, this time they say its the IAC (Idle Air Control) Valve. This place is a joke, and I think they are trying to bone me. Any help with the location of the cruise control wire would be appreciated

And if the cc worked before you took it there and now it doesn't, tell them they have to fix it cuz they broke it, and threaten the BBB.

OK- now I really need help. I bought some cleaner that said it was safe to spray on air control valves, air sensors, etc. and now the car is idling horribly, and wont go over 2000 rpms. It just goes to die. Did I screw up a sensor? I sprayed quite a few of the sensors( thought the product would be safe on them) I am a little scared now. Do you think it will stop once the cleaner dries out?

Let it dry out for a while before you freak out

One custom CL
did you physicaly remove the IAC in the back of the manifold and clean the screen with the throttle body cleaner or did u just spray they on top?
the cleaner should dry out almost immediately
the symptoms usually worsen at first then things stabilise
