this is a no joke no nos story
after being pissed off the last few weeks about burning my clutch out at NOPI, i haven't used nos since. new act clutch and jun flywheel will be on this week. well last night on 264, while going to my club meeting, a 2nd gen eclipse, all riced out, pulls behind me and then matches my speed, gets beside me wanting to race, so we both downshift, he pulls ahead by a car length and then i start to overtake him and when i slowed down i was doing 135 exactly. he probably maxed out at 120 or something because about 8 sec later he passed me hard and i was doing 100. wow

a guy in the club has a svt focus, piece of shit if you ask me, and wanted to race after hearing my story. so we get on 264, i hear him floor it, so i do in third, my clutch holds for once and i'm right on his ass. i shift to 4th and i had to let off the gas or i'd hit him, we were doing about 110.

this is the good story

i wanted to see if the clutch would hold with nos on, so i got on 64, passed a cop giving a ticket, got in the hov(carpool lane) doing 70 in 4th, flipped the switch and hit the gas. the clutch held, hit about 110 and shifted to 5th. in no time i was at 140 and kept it on for a few more seconds until i hit about 145, 6, or 7 i can't tell, needle was past the reset button. i slowed down and got off at greenbrier exit. previous best was 139 without nos and it took about 2 minutes to get there. i was at 145 in about 30 seconds.

if you just had the clutch installed i would wait a few weeks to break it in. but thats just me.

I think he still has his old clutch and is getting the new one this week

JUN flywheels are really hard to find, that why it's taking so long
