My system

My system
Ok guys I just got 90% of my trunk done. I got the box built and everything. The guy that was doing my trunk decided not to make a flase floor with a plexiglass window for my amps because our spare tire holder (where my amps are mounted) isn't centered in our car. But I got the front speakers in, the screen, and the box all done and the amps!!!
What the system consists of-
Avic D3 in-dash Screen, NAV, DVD, MP3, CD player
5 1/4" Pioneer PRS components up front
6 3/4" Pioneer PRS components in fiberglassed rear deck (not installed yet)
D6600.4 Diamond Audio amp pushing all the speakers
2- D610 10" Diamond Audio Subs
D61500.1 Diamond Audio 1500W RMS amp pushing the subs
All in custom mounted spots
Here is the screen, I had the dash kit installed and glued in, some glue leaked through so I sanded it all down and then bondo'd it and now it's all smoothed out!!
Here are the door panels with black suede... Notice the tweeter pods for the PRS tweeters. It sounds awesome.
Now here's the box that I had built by the master installer at magnolia hi fi.
Just the picture on how not centered our spare tire is, so there goes the idea of the amps in the spare tire holder.

prime candidate for a 98/99 dash swap.
i wouldnt be able to stand that dash if i were you.
theres a lot of room for improvement in-cabin..
pimp ass box though, im diggin that.
and your doors are also rediculous- i love them.
just finish up that console, it'll look incredible once its done.
you can do the swap for less than 100 bucks i think.

I like the suede, but i dont like it on the upper part of the door. I would have left it on the insert and called it good. I like the setup for the most part, but you need to repaint the stereo surround to at least match the suede or something.. It just clashes too much.. I like your setup, just not loving those couple little things...

Thanks guys. I would have just done the insert, but the tweeter pods were so big, I had to cut a gap out of the door panel where they meet up so they could sit in there. But otherwise I would have.

and your spending all that money on stereo-work:
YOU HAVE TO SWITCH TO THE 98-99 DASH.
Your dash is busted up anyway- what is that, a burn mark on the top left corner?
We are here to offer you constructive criticism.
You'll thank me (us) once you convert.
Signing off,

no it's not a burn mark. It's actually my microphone for my audio sensor on my alarm. My alarm is really sensitive. I know you guys offer constructive criticism but it's also my car, and I like the woodrgrain and the dash the way it is. I'm happy with it. I've got so many uncompleted project going on my car right now. I've still gotta finish the suede on the back panels, instal my rear panels, rear deck, and rear seat. and then I gotta finish the stereo. I have to wire in a battery operated siren for my alarm, LED's that show my alarm is on and finish all the suede in my car (a-pillar's, armrest, glove box, headliner.)
Than I also want to clean my carpets and my interior really good and get it all ready for shows coming up.

maybe throw in a dash kit?
check kleptos.
shit is fuckin hot.
if your guy can do CF on the subwoofer enclosure
maybe he can lay it over the woodgrain on the dash.
just a thought.
imo the dash looks kinda ghetto.

Yea but I don't have anything carbon fiber, except for the trunk and that's the only black vinyl they have. But I'm debating on buying lunchbox's CF hood, but the only way I would get a hood is if someone makes a CF trunk for our cars too. than I would definetely carbon fiber out my stuff
