my headlight!

Hey this may not go here but i need some advice, my headlight went dead on me cuz i had those POS white HID immitation lights, i thought it was the bulb so i changed it and still the left headlight doesn't work, so what im here to ask is, if i put pack in the stock bulbs, do u think my dealer will warranty it? if not how much am i looking at, is it something i could do?? does anyone even know what the problem was?

thanks

any help will suffice

that sucks man.

my guess is that the white bulbs fried your wiring harness?
sometimes those imitation hid bulbs overload the harness
if it is the higher wattage type.

Hey,

Did you try checking the 20AMP fuse for that headlight? If it's those cheap imitation bulbs then usually they overload the wattage and therefore blows the fuse. Replacing the fuse if it's fried should do the trick before heading into the dealer. But if all fails, take it in.

Hope this is helpful.

yes... mr. james is correct... check the fuses first.
then go to the dealer as a last resort....
it should be covered under warranty.

how would they know that you used those imitation bulbs???
