hahah, I remember this thread. I knew it sounded strangely farmiliar when I was reading the first post.
yeah the vid is decent. you can't relaly tell the engine blew. lotta wind noise, really annoying, but still decent. very dangerous highway driving though.

back in my h22 days (non-turbo) my friend and i had just entered the freeway and there was an e36 fooling around with him and when the e36 had taken off i took off as well. i wasnt sure if that guy was going full throttle, but i past him quite quickly for a few car lengths. all of a sudden it started pulling hard, and then walked me like doodoo. apparently, it was an m3. i caught up to the guy and gave him the thumbs up. that was the first time i had been raped that bad on the streets (not that i go out every night looking for a run).

330s run mid 14s you boneheads. Homeboy's stock Prelude only runs mid 15s.
Beemer trannies are very efficent, plus those inline motors have gobs of tq all around - starts low and keeps on all the way up. Tq moves cars, not hp.
325s are mid 15 cars w/ manual, mid/high 15 w/ auto. Same for convertable 330s. All are good matches for 3.0s. You'll smoke a 325 convertable up and down the road. The convertables weigh almost 500lbs more than the hardtop!
kspekCLS - is that an SF Challenge? I LOVE those wheels. Must get a pair in black with the new car.
