My 2.2CL getting a complete makeover! W.I.P [56K WARNING]
Well guys, i started a thread about my baby getting a TLC treatment. And i finally got enough money and time, so it started last week.
Previous thread: https://acurazine.com/forums/1g-cl-1997-1999-56/tlc-cl-714229/
So, the car is going to be repainted the stock Primrose color, including the stock black skirts, and the m3 mirrors that i bought off ebay, with the blinker.
I Took the headlights off, as well as the tailights and brought them home to Blackhouse the front and tint the back. Front windshield was cracked and was taken off to be replaced after the full repair, and back window was taken off for the bodywork.

what are you doing about the rust? cut out and weld in a new piece, or just bondo and fiberglass?

have you thought about doing a full trunk debage, like getting rid of the A aswell
i did it when i got my car repainted, and i love it, glad i didn't keep any of those stupid emblems on there
although i do have two full sets sitting in a box now

i think having the A on the trunk by itself is pretty nice.

Um, guys. Is rockblocker down? I look at the other threads in search, and the other links to his site didn't work.. I went to some tint shops, and they all said regular window tint wouldn't stick on plastic.
Is rockblocker specially made for plastic? or its just a regual window film cutout in our taillights shap. I dont want to spray my taillights!

Becareful down the road if you plan on running some aggressive offsets in the back. The filler will crack if you try to roll it. You will have to trim it. Not sure if you planned on running wheels or not. Hopefully it will look good as new when it's done.

just did my spray tints today, they came out awesome, i suggest washing some tail lights, drying them. and then laying down the coats of tint you want, i got my spray tint at work today for like 8 bucks. keep them away from the bugs, thats bad news. gl, im excited to see it out of paint.
