I had been hearing a rattle since I got my new muffler put on my 2.3 (Tanabe Hyper Medallion). Today my mechanic told me the connecting pipe is hitting the rear sway bar, which is stock. Any ideas on how to fix this/anyone else have this problem? I will probably use pipe straps and put some rubber or something around the pipe and try and get the hangers more secure. Why are the hangers on the car so flexible anyway, does the muffler really need to be able to move around?
