motor mounts for H22
hey dudes. my CL mounts aren't working for the swap. the front and back don't match up. I fixed the drivers side problem, but just can't get the front and back right. any thoughts? it's JDM if that means anything. I'm sure USDM is the same.

somewhat changing the topic but related talk:
i've looked all over the place for swap mounts and oem replacement mounts that are stronger but nobody makes them. hasport only came out with the billet drivers side mount, and enjo racing had gone out of buisness. you can try contact place racing and see if they still have mounts avail. there's a guy down here with a set of place racing mounts for the accord chassis with h-series swap selling for an alright price. i want to get it asap cuz my stock mounts are fucked up. the thing is i gotta come up with the money asap.

The mounts fit no matter what unless your mechanic got the engine in wrong. Have him try a 180. Should work. LOL. Mount fit no matter what. Especially front and back.

Just did the swap myself.....mounts fot perfectly...(Except Driver side) What year is the engine?? Do you have any pics?

What's funny is I know that the H22 is faster and funner than my F23...but I know I can still be beat by alot of MOFOS!! I'll still race people for the hell of it...but that dude blew me away when he tried to call me out...and his damn motor won't even fit!!!

no hope for my car.. fuckin stupid ass shop doesnt want to inform me with things. i gotta go down to the shop and talk to the guy thats helping me out with my car. if the motor is completed w/ all the internals, then it'll take a week to get everything back together.

this thread..Speaking of motor mounts: Im letting up off the clutch and accelerating. for a split second, car will shudder sometimes (not all the time) like if I let off the clutch too quickly. Is it just that, or could it be something else? (aka motor mount?)

true that. but i cant give them attitude because they're the ones building my motor. and its vital that they install everything correctly. if i gave them attitude, they'd be like fuck this guy and throw back everything half ass. its hard for me to go down to their shop cuz they had recently changed locations and i still gotta find out where they had moved to. i would go there if i had a ride and also if i knew where they are recently located. the process is almost complete though. install everything into my car - fab larger diameter piping - wire up fuel/injector computer - and tune that sob
once thats complete, i can install my full coilover setup; rims; and some other shit.
