Meets ? & Burnouts

Who decides where the meets are (ex.cities) & when they are held? Yeah thats about it I guess. Whats the best way to burnout without reving in neutral & dropping it in 1st.

1) Whoever takes the time to advertise and organize a meet. There is no set schedule or coordinator.

2) As you have an automatic, i'm not entirely sure, but it probably involves the e-brake and has been discussed before if you feel like searching for it.

Meets are decided by whomever wants to have them. If you have an automatic, don't EVER EVER rev in neutral and drop it into first, this is HORRIBLE for your tranny. The best bet is to brake torque (foot on brake while slowly applying the gas, then letting go of the brake) and have the ebrake on. You probably won't be able to do i tthough.

pull ebrake, drop to 1st, brake torque, turning side to side may help.

Keep the burnouts to the track where they serve some purpose.

Otherwise, it just shows that you know how to use your e-brake. I think my dog can operate my e-brake...

I dont do them all the time like some people, who go way overboard with it. But every now & then its fun to do them. & as far as the meets go thanks for the info. I was just wondering because it would be nice to get a meet in GA sometime.
