So I'm ripping out my interior, trunk liner, and back seats so I can do a custom system install and while pulling up my backseat that you sit on. I discover a nice big puddle a water, that is I hope it is water. I'm in maryland it just rained a couple a days ago. So my question is why in the blue hell is there a pool underneath my seat. oHHHHHHH and also after I pulled by back part of the seat up on the sheet metal plate there is old birdshit sitting on the medal. Any ideas let me no. So all and all I have a bird nest and possibly bird bath in the rear of my cl.

this may help you a little. if you plan on ripping out the rear side panels or the headliner, you will see 4 clear tubes. the extend from the drainage basin around the sunroof so excess water in the basin drains down, down into the quarter panels and out the car. check to see if it is these that are leaking. as far as the bird shit, that is obvious. apprently someone was crossing the boarder with birds tucked away in the door panels, between the rear seat and the trunk, and in the spare tire well. duh!
