make sure before i do this
is it ok to connect capacitor between altinator and fusebox?
i installed new altinator but it seems that it does not produce enough power so that my lights (ex. headlight, gauge, clock) dims when ever i use extra power like turn signal or move seat.
so i decided to put capacitor for altinator so that it can store some power for extra usage.
i just wanted to make sure it is ok to do this.
thank you

ENGAGE MY VTEC BABY!!!!!!
you should hook it up to the ground in the trunk somewhere and then the power i would get a distribution block and split the power and run one to the cap

Yeehaw
Capicitor shouldn't be more than 18 inches from whatever it is sending power to...
I think you would be better off getting a new alternator than trying to run a cap to this one...

I just intalled new one like a week ago.
This was happening since I got my CL like 2 years ago. The weird thing was that it was fixed right before altinator died out. Does altinator produce more power before it will die or some?

You want to check the terminals on the battery, and the ground. The stock alternator put's out enough juice for the entire electrical system. Sometimes, when there is a huge current draw, the electrical system bogs, thats basically the dimming. Get a dry cycle battery ie. optima, and this problem will be less common.
