Major Help for Retrofit Projectors
Ok, so I got 9006 low beams, I'm looking to retrofit some projectors (most likely Valeo)... since Valeo projectors house H7 bulbs, can I get a H7-to-D2S adaptor and then hook up a 6000k D2S HID Kit? Or would I require separate adaptors since my car is 9006? What exactly does the 9006 refer to? If it refers to the fitment of the prongs on the stock headlamps, then wouldn't adding Valeo Projectors technically make my car an H7 car since the Valeo's house H7's? If that's the case, then I would just need the H7-to-D2S adaptors correct? Let me know if I'm completely wrong here, but I've been reading up for the past 2 hours and I still can't get it figured out, and VXCL is difficult to reach at times.. =/

Search! There are a few people that have some awesome step-by-step instructions for this. And get a Valeo D2S projector. If you are going to do it do it right, don't mess around with adaptors.

i thought you already had a 9006 xenon kit? thats why is said you may want to look into some integra projectors for cheap instead of buying a whole d2s setup. if you dont have anything i would defintely go with valeo d2s or d1s. the # 9006, h4, h7, h9, etc is the bulb type and lamp. changing both would then change your setup however you car has 9006 connectors. you can buy connectors from suvlights.com to clip right into them to trigger your xenons off a relay

you shoudl mess around with h7 to d2s projectors the valeos have the best color cutoff and you can get the most out of them for your money
the most blue and purple and in some cases aqua
its worth it
go with a valeo h7 and get some adapter rings for d2s
