Lumbar support question

Looking to buy a used 2.3 cl and I was just wondering some of the ads for Cls say adjustable lumbar support. Yet when I test drove one the side control on the seat allows me to tilt the seat forward and back/up/down and move it forward and back.

How would you adjust the lumbar support?

My aching old man back needs some support damn it!

Actually, that was standard on my 99 3.0. It's on the inside (right) of the drivers side seat, not the outboard side. All 99 3.0's have them. I believe all 97-98 3.0 premiums have them.

I'm pretty sure there is no air involved in it...i think its just a rotating disk that adds support. Anyway just keep cranking the lever, there are 3 clicks for all the way full, then 2 clicks after that will lower it back in.

Months go by and I completely forget the adjustments are even there!

I think I've used them once or twice in 2 1/2 years!
