For the Love of God I Need Help!!

I NEED HELP!!! The other night a quarter got stuck in my passenger seat track and would not budge. I saw the quarter and got it out the next day (huge pain). It worked fine for the rest of the day and then that night, suddenly slipped out of lock and wont lock into place anymore. It just slides along. My girlfriend is pissed because everytime I clutch, she flies into the dashboard. Help, please. I think I am going to take out my seat and work on it, but I wanted input on how to go about taking it out, and if I'm the only one unfortunate to have this happen to me.

Same exact thing happen to me a while back. Once I got the quarter out, the seat would lock and the problem went away. Are you sure you don't have anymore loose change in the track? Good luck

I'm not laughing at you, but at the title of the thread, and then the way you describe your girlfriend "flying into the dashboard" [ouch]!

I don't have any suggestions, but your thread gave me a chuckle.

Good luck (and I hope your girlfriend recovers)!

check underneath the seats. in my experience, most manual moving seats lock via a cable attached to the handle in the front of the seat. that might be your problem

Thanks guys. Glad I brightened your day Dust. I am going to take out the seat today after work and flip it over in my garage, clean it out and pray. If that doesn't work, then I will roll without a passanger seat, weight reduction anyway. Thanks again for the responses.
