How is the rest of your stuff? HID's, ZEX box, CAI??

Are you thinking of doing anything custom since you have to get it all fixed?

NO!!!

I just had to go through this, and now you? Especially since your car is a LOT nicer than mine. Lol. Well, looks like your insurance might be somewhere near mine now. At least you're all right. If your accident was similar to mine, you'll need hood, radiator, bumper, lights, etc, etc.. my total repair bill was like 11,500 because they had to redo the whole front suspension because the bags popped when i hit them.

Been there too! Some guy started to merge in front of me and then slammed on his brakes even though there was no traffic coming. I slammed into him and did $3,000 worth of damage to my car, but no ticket. He was in some Hyundai so I think the plastic panels just popped back out, haha.

I know it's annoying Rick but hey atleast you didn't get hurt (I'm assuming) and the car is fixable. Hang in there.

THAT SUCKS. My condolances on the car; it's sad to see so much work and effort go down the drain like that. I know it's not the same, but I ran over a large brick last weekend, wrecking two rims. Either way it's a horrible feeling. Hope that something good will come out of this(comptech sc, cf hood), despite the horrible jack in premiums.

That sucks! At least you're okay and it sounds like your car is repairable. Easy to replace the car, not so easy to replace yo ass, hehe.

Yeah, I'm pretty upset!

Nothing like have a moment in time where you think "Oh fuck, I'm going to crash!"

I thought I was ok, but I now have pains running up my back through my shoulder blade. I'm also pretty dizzy and nauseous.

I'll go to the body shop in the AM, and retrieve my zex system out of the car (don't wan't the insurance peeps to notice it).

I definitely need a new hood, grille (my poor gold), radiator, fans, air consensor, possibly new fenders, a new tranny cooler, new light housings (I hope the HIDs survived), new bumper, new bumper cover, plus other structural damage that I can't determine right now.

I'm just really upset! :'(

ARRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Damn Rick!

Sorry to hear about your baby!

I hope you are alright, be sad to see you go. Just don't bash the guy like I did - even though he probably was some lazy ass Soccer Dad in a SUV or Mini Van.

Well, looks like Mod man will be on hold for a minute, but I know you will make a strong return and in style. Anything I can do to help, just let me know.

Rick, I am really sorry to hear about this. Take care of yourself and I wish you the best with your car. It's so sad to hear about this after all the time and money I know you have spent on that beauty. But just make sure you get yourself checked out for those pains you're experiencing. A healthy you is much more important than any car right now.

It's good to see you "popping in". Hopefully you'll stay around a while.

I think some of the riff-raff that were giving you shit are gone.

BTW: Thanks to everyone for your support!

I'm going to the doctor in the AM.

It was on Montgomery Village Ave, heading towards the 270 ramp (I had just crossed over 355).

I couldn't have been going more than 25-30 mph when I hit him (probably slower). It just sucks that it had to be a SUV. I went under his rear bumper! :thumbsdn:

SO . . . Maybe I should move up the Spring '03 custom body work to now. I'll think about it.

Planning to get pics late this AM or early afternoon.

Now it doesn't look as bad as when the accident just happened (but bad enough). Looks like my HIDs, the tranny cooler, the fog lights, an the clear bumper lights survived!

I think the CAI and the Zex system are ok, but I couldn't get the hood up yet.

BTW: I feel much better today (no pain).

Here's the pics (you can tell where the other dudes exhaust pipe went through my bumper):

If it wasn't for the damn exhaust pipe, you could of gotten by with just a new hood by the way it looks. Sorry to see anything happen to anyones ride.

Well, it looks like you, the frame, and the motor are intact, so I'd say that it could've been much worse.
