line out converter

has any one hooked up an amp and subs to their stock head unit? if anyone has please give me tips on hooking up the line out converter

I haven't done it in my CL but I've done it in other cars. Hook up a LOC from the channel + and ground, then hook the rca's up to the amp. If you're running one amp, you have to use one channel or the other. Better LOC's have line outs to keep your 6x9 too, make sure you get one that lets you have a channel out. Or you can do it closer to the stock amp if you have the bose system.

im currently running a LOC on my celica.


i get crazy engine noise tho!

im only using subs, quite odd.

i dont mind it tho, its my beater

i think i know what your saying but im not sure where to hook up the other four wires of the LOC but i get the rca part

I'm guessing there's 2 for the singal input, and 2 to go out to the speaker

ok so then i hook up those wires to the plug that goes to my 6x9s?
