I have a 97 CL 3.0, and I have installed a Pioneer Premier Deck. My problem is everything works except the sound. From the back of the premier harness is a yelllow mute and a blue remote control with a small U-clip. Both of these wires are not connected to anything. I also have from the cl harness a blue power antenna wire not connected. There is also a black single RCA chord coming from back in the dash but i dont see where it would plug into because it does not plug into the original radio. what should i do?

Run the blue power antenna wire to your stock amp, or search on here how to bypass or trigger your stock amp. I gurantee you the prob is your amp in the trunk isn't turning on.

I wish I knew what the dude that fixed my h/u did cause I had the same problem.

this "black rca" youre talking about seems to be the actual antenna plug that goes into the stock HU, youd need a converter to plug it in to your new HU.

The remote control System wire coming off of the h/u connects to the power antenna wire from the harness, that turns on the speakers. The extra RCA looking chord is a radar detector cable from the previous owner. I have had my CL for 6 years and found extra chords behind the radio that do not hookl up to anything. Next step is the XM, Disc cahnger and the Subs.
