kyb agx and tein s-tech springs

has anybody here had any experience with the combination of these struts and springs?

ive done some seaching and researching and it seems this combo should make a nice drop and yet smooth ride with the adjustable dampers. any input you fellas got would be great

2.2/2.3 or 3.0?
i had the s tech on my 3.0 on for a very short time. i ran at both heights on the koni yellows, and it was too low. like..the front would scratch on bumps, and the wheels rubbed almost all the time on turns, and a lot of times just going straight.

i also think i have a little bit of chassis sag from my car being so low for so many years, but either way, i would use caution if doing s tech on 3.0

i have the 3.0 cl, i didnt think there was much trouble droping the front 2.0 inches on the 3.0. i know i may need some camber correction. the agx's dont have adjustable perches so i would be just a 2.0" drop. i've got 18 x 7.5 wheels with 42 offset.

indo, what size wheels were you rollin on with t e s-tech springs, and how far down did you set the perch on the koni's ?

the s-tech springs i used were for the 4 cylinder accord. when i bought them earlier this year, there were no v6 applications. Ive seen 3.0 s with sportlines drop a little lower than 2.0 inches due to the weight of the engine, but i didnt think itd be that bad with the s-tech. i think clpower has a 3.0 with sportlines, and his runs pretty low.

i was running on stock wheels at the time. i had the perch set at the .5 in lower than stock, then at the stock position. the.5 lower than stock was horrible..couldnt drive it. stock height was semidrivable, but every little bump it rubbed, or the front end would hit the ground. and it rubbed on right turns. just right turns. i thought that was weird.

i had ground controls on tokico non adjustables a couple years ago, with the same size wheel as u...225/40 18 tire. the tires were semi-tucked, and i had no problems. but camber killed my tires in about a year. i didnt even notice till the metal was showing because it wore away on the sidewall. i guessed that it was because it was a stiffer, wider and lower profile tire. just watch out the inner sidewall when u drop low.

sorry about the long response. ive gone through numerous susp setups, and been through a lot. right now im fighting a warranty problem with my koni's. don't ever buy them.

i think im done. hope i helped

dude if you were running kyb agx.. you can set the shocks firmer so you don't bottom out as much... Im dropped 3.5 inch in the front and I rarely rub... only on really steep driveway entrances...

If I drive slow enough up a driveway I don't rub at all... take a look in the www for a pic of the front. my tire is tucked maybe .4-.5 of an inch now that springs resettled.
