kyb agx strut mounts and boots?
i am installing kyb agx shocks this weekend and wanted to make sure i need a new mount for each strut, boot kit for each strut and also a front lower control arm shock bushing?
any help would be appreciated!
'99 2.3 5spd-cardiff blue
port and polished
injen CAI
H&R springs
ingalls camber kit
kyb agx- installing

You shouldn't need any of them, but reality (and past experience) dictates that having them on hand would be prudent!
I wish I had all those items up front, when I participated in dropping 3 CLs. Each one had at least one bolt break, and 2 needed new bushings. However, none need new boot kits.
EDIT: But then again, your in Dallas. The 3 I worked on had been through several winters (road salt, and rusted bolts).

They're hard rubber pieces that fit on the shock piston to keep it from compressing too far into the shock body and blowing. In other words, it keeps the car from bottoming out and blowing the shock(s).

i think i will install it without new mount and boot kit
if i need new anything replaced im sure i could do it
ya im in Dallas and dont have harsh winters at all, so hopefully theyre not too bad
im also replacing my timing belt and water pump
and after a tune-up and getting my valves adjusted
my baby should be running better than ever
