Sup guys i plan on dropping my cl using my neuspeed "race" springs that i took off from my 96 accord and i was wondering which of the 2 shocks should i get for this set up? I heard decent comments about the kybs from doing searches and my friend has them on his 86 corrolla, tho i dunno if the quality applies to hondas, but i dunno much about the koni reds. Any comments about these shocks? price wise....if i'm correct, the koni reds are cheaper than the agx's. another thing... i was plannin on buyin the shocks from ebay... and i noticed that the prices of the agx's are way lower then any other sites compared to other shocks being sold. they go for around 300shipped on ebay. i was just wondering if these auctions are scams or any thing. thanks for the help

yup ur correct i bought agx's on ebay cuz there cheap compared to the others performance stores, the reason i bought the kyb agx's because they were recommended for eibach springs and i did my research and had good reviews on 'em but i never used konis but heard those were good too, and depending on who u buy on ebay look at there feedback scores,

i bought the kybs but didnt have time to install them yet so i dont how they would feel.....

also u might wna go to the sac town meets in elk grove

koni yellows are a MUCH better shock than kyb agx

however, if you get the koni yellows you have to remove the strut each time you wanna adjust dampening

if you get the koni neuspeed yellows dampening is externally adjustable

Koni Red was design for racing...if u want that stiffer ride...Koni Red, for daily road u should got with Koni Yellow and if u're on a budget go with KYB AGX. I've been riding on my AGX for over 2 years now and it great.

So if i was to get the agx's with my neuspeed "race" springs u guys think i can come close to stock quality ride? a lot of people on this forum said that the neuspeed"race" springs aren't that good, but when i had them on my accord it wasn't that bad considering i was running on stock shocks. But now i wanna do it right with my cl especially since i got some money do to spend. (financial aid check from school baby!! well it's only 400bux lol)

koni red was DEFINATELY not designed for racing or any type of real performance...that's why they are cheaper and less expensive..non adjustable

saying the yellows aren't meant for performance and the reds are is just wrong
