I just traded in my cl on a 2002 Subaru Outback and sold my Honda Passport. I miss my baby already, but its time to move on and get a manual transmission. This spring I am buying a 97-98 240 sx and keeping the outback as a daily driver. Im planning building an sr20det or rb25det and dropping it in. Ive been doing some research and with a little money you can have them pushing 450whp (what Im aiming for). Its time for some fun, but I will miss the cl- thats for sure. Im sure Ill post every once in a while (if anyone gives a shit). Thinks for all the info and laughs guys, later.

sr20det is the way to go. Cheaper plus better weight distribution. From what I hear, you through in the skyline engine and it will not be 50/50 at all...although both are common swaps.

I feel like a soccer mom driving the outback, so Im just going to black it out so no one can see me. Amazingly that thing handles great, but its definitly not the fastest.

 

sr20det is definitely the way to go. Just make sure you throw some rims with a fat lip on it. Good luck with everything and post up some pics.

BTW how much did you get for your CL?
