just got a new addition
just got a apex i vtec controller. Needless to say im pretty excited about it. I cant wait to put it in the day i get it, i just hope i can get out of work so i can do the install myself. I need opinions on where to mount this sucker. Pics would be stellar. Thanks for the help guys and gals

please dont try to install this yourself unless youre VERY good with electronics! take it to a car shop that has a dyno, get it installed and tuned all at once so your car doesnt mess up at all!

I don't know if you're after the performance benefits of the V-AFC or if you just like how it looks. If you just like how it looks then you can get it installed now and don't even bother tuning because from your sig it looks like you only have a CAI and no Headers, or exhausts. With just a CAI I don't think you are affecting air flow enough to have to change you VTEC point or the A/F ratio. If you are however after performance you should get headers and Exhausts first and then get it dyno tuned and professionaly installed. That won't give you any big peak gains but you should get some decent gains in other parts of your power curve.

yeah yeah, i know it wont do major tuning now but im just gonna lean out the high end a little (high cam side) All honda's and acura's run a little rich from the factory. I will handle the wiring just fine. Installed one on my buddies gsr and other friends SI already, not much to it.
P.S. i know i need an A/F meter so i dont run to lean and blow up but trust me, it wont be too bad. I do like the way it looks and i do want the performance, but i dont have the kind of money for exhaust or headers right now, ill just install this and be happy for a while. Thanks for your opinions, any more suggestions on where to put this puppy?? I was thinking either to the left of the steering wheel on to top of the dash, or where the ashtray is right now.
