Just got my Tein SS coilovers

I just got my Tein SS coilovers and the two front ones are missing the flexible rubber thing that covers the shock. Are they supposed to be like this or did I get ripped off?

they do make the pillowball mounts for our car, but from wat tein told me, the car will ride a lot stiffer with it on. so im guessing it would not be comfortable for daily driving. teins are stiff enough as they are already.
