just got a 99 2.3 CL.....
Just got it with 63700 miles on it and so far I notice that while the car is idling, it sometimes doesn't even move at all until I step on the gas. Since I had a v6, it moves everytime while it's idling. The other thing is that the engine seems to be a bit more shakey than the nissan maxima I had with 93500 on it.....is this normal for a 4cylinder engine? prehaps I should get a tune up asap?

Whenever you buy a new car , you should always tune it up. You don't usually need to change the plugs till 100,000 but you don't know what the previous owner did to the car. Is it a stick or auto?

go ahead and do a tune up.. remember that now is a perfect time to upgrade equipment... get some msd wires, cap and rotor, plugs if you wanna, use some lucas fuel system treatment to clean out yoru injectors..
