Just Finished painting my wood...
Well I finally went ahead and did it. I was tired of waiting for aluminium dash peices so I painted the wood. Took apart my whole dash and snapped off the wood. I was proud of myself because I didn't break one piece. It's really not that hard you just have to take your time. I went down to the paint store and had them match my exterior. The blew it into a spray can for me and I went to town. 6 coats of primer, sand, 6 coats of frost white, and hella amounts of clear and it was done. All in all it took the whole weekend to do and my car was in pieces so I couldn't drive anywhere but it was worth it. Next up is the headlights. Oh yea I'd have pics but my dog ate my digi about a month ago and I haven't replaced it. Just look at Ross' car.....

Pics Here
1. Started out by taking out the center console and audio unit console. This let me access the climate control screws.
2. Took glovebox apart and let it hang down.
3. Removed two on underside of climate control and removed wired plugs to climate control.
4. Removed one screw by passenger side air vent. This one was hard to find but if you look behind the dast you will see it.
5. The hard part. To remove the center wood trim without breaking it was hard. I pushed at the back of the climate control unit until the clips snapped off on the left edge. After that it was the combination of a flat head driver on the clips in the rear and just some TLC to get it off. Advise - if it's not comming don't keep pulling. Look at the backside and find the clip it is stuck on and use the flathead.
6. Now for the doors. I took apart the whole door to do this. After you pop off the door panel there are like 5 or 6 screws that hold the trim in place. Remove those and gently work it out.
7. If you have more questions or want more pics don't hesitate to ask.
