whne i was looking at if from under the car, the piping is about 2.75" but after unbolting it the rear section the interior diameter is considerably smaller then the exterior around 2.25". just wondering y it was made that way. also when i had my accord i couldnt find an extention when i was puttong on my headers and i decided to just cut it off and when i did there was a pipe within the pipe
