ipod

I had an ipod plugged into my deck before it got jacked, I got a new one, and I can't decide whether or not to get a new deck or just to plug it into the stock one. Suggestions?

Get a deck with a line input. It would be your best bet. You can plug other things into it as well. I have the JVC KD SX60. It is a few years old, but I have seen similar ones with line inputs on them.

Insurance replaced what was stolen from me with all new stuff, and I decided that I don't need as great a system as I used to have.

why not go alpine deck with alpine adapter? you can interface your ipod through your deck and read song titles and such

Hey I have a alpine 9833 plus the ipod adaptor, nice sound. I'm loving it.

why not just burn cds with 700 mb, ur saving money that way its an mp3 deck

I do... I can put upwards of 300 songs on a disc. It reads standard ISO format with folder trees. I was amazed with the MP3 decoder in the JVC. That thing can read some scratched up discs without error.
