Interior Rattle Over Bumps (mainly doors)
In my 1999 CL 2.3 my interior rattles (mainly doors rattle) when I go over bumps in dry weather. When it is raining outside/wet outside the rattles minimize. I am looking to see if anyone has suggestions.
My thoughts:
*Door seals are getting old and dried up and need to be replaced? Has that even happened to anyone
*Or something in the front suspension acts better when wet : it is too dry when not wet!
Any thoughts???? Thanks in advance
I HATE RATTLES!!!!

Is it a squeak or a rattle, is it coming from your door or front suspension, you confused me. Tell me which, I have the answer for both

Coming from the doors I think. It is not a squeak but a rattle.
I was just thinking it might be something in the suspension causing the rattle when dry but better when wet
Thanks!

To clarify again it is more of a plastic sounding rattle coming from the door panel area that happens in the dry weather that goes away when it is wet/raining outside. Any thoughts please let me know

Sounds like one of the panels in the door panel is loose, or the armrest piece is thumping against the panel. The panel itself is like 3-4 panels, plus the armrest. You need to pop your door panel off, tighten all the screws holding that shit together, if that still doesn't work, dynamat it. My doors are fully dynamatted and I get no rattles at all, not even from excessive bass. Also, the other possibility is part of your window or window regulator, but you said it sounds like a plastic rattle. Anything to do with the window is much stronger, plastic and metal rattles.

I'll add my guesses -
You're noticing two different sounds because during rainy days, the window is up. on dry days, the window is probably down when your hearing this rattling. I had the same problem and the window pane (glass) was hitting some of the componets in the door when it was rolled down. You could really hear it if you shut the door with the window down.
hope this points you in *a* direction, if not the right one.

I think i know what it is cause i just fixed mine i think its the side accent piece you hear it rattle more when dry cause the contact is hitting dry when its wet out or raining the water act like a spong a little bit betwen the door and accent piece.
When i say accent piece i mean that strip that goes along the side of our cars on the outside not the inside panels. I just got sum supper glue and glued the shit back in place and now no rattles other than the rear panel the speakers sit on but im gettin dat dynamatted soon within next month. To all dat have had dynamat installed how much it cost for install a guy qouted me at 60 bux for trunk and 20 for each door. Is that a good deal???
