Interior Ratteling

WHenver I play songs with a good bit of bass (still in stock Bose System, 99' with "plus" package, or whatever it's called), Sometimes my driver-side door rattles, inside. Maybe a pannel is loose? It stops when i hold down on the "anti-theft" plastic box which is twards the back...

There also seems to be a rattle somewhere in the shifter... I checked for loose-change in the cup-holders, but that doesn't seem to be the problem.. Any ideas?

And last, my leather is loosing the "dark black" that I've come to love, it's turning...*gasp* old. What can I do to help delay this?

Thanks,

idk, but i have 2 10's in a ported box and i have no rattles where you said you had them from your stock bose, try taking the cupholder and center console out and then playing it and seeing if you still hear it, and you can take the door pannel off if you want to see if you can find it there too

Lexol is a good product to use on your leather.

I had a bit of rattling in my door, ever since I had to get my window modulator replaced. Dynamat door kits fixed that, it was worse for me than you probably, because I have bass in my car. But also check to make sure you don't have any loose things that can rattle in the pocket on your door. A cd case or something would definately make a rattling noise. If that doesn't work, they have sound proofing (dynamat) door kits.

Have a similar problem. Not a big deal, check to make sure door panel is fitted correctly. And yes, get the loose crap out of the door pocket.

peace.
