First and foremost, Awesome forum guys! My first time here. So excuse me for the questions.

I have been a loyal Honda owner for many many years until my accord got totalled 3 weeks ago. So I just purchased a 1997 2.2 cl, with 80K miles on it.

My question is there is no Short air intakes available form many of the vendors like K&N AEM, injen. But you guys show that you can do it. Where or what model # from K&N. My injen I had on my 97 accord looks liek it will fit but I'm not sure.

Also I always wanted to do a short shifter, there is there 2 kinds? one that looks like an arm the other looks like an adapter? What are the differences? and which one is better?

get a shifter out of a 92-96 prelude..

should be like 10-30 bucks max from ur local junkyard

your intake will fit, trust me. and as silver said you can get the 92-96 Prelude shifter, but you can also get aftermarket short shifters from PSpec of forbidden motorsports. some dudes on here have them.

pretty much anything you had on your accord will fit the CL ..the engine is the same as the 97 Accord Ex

even if its a LX or non-vtec F22 the intake should fit.
