Intake PROBLEM fixed!

Is is just me or are the hose openings.... ON THE WRONG FUCKING SIDE?!?!

How the hell do I get the hose to reach all the way down to the filter side?

3.0 and that's what I'm trying to figure out.
If I do get supper long hose so it can reach, would that be a bad thing in any way? (longer distance air travel, etc.)

no its ok, it connects to the pcv valve which sends built up pressure(rich gas) back into the intake to be reburnt.

So it would be ok if I just buy longer hoses at an auto parts store right? Both hoses?

Yeah.. That's what I'm going to do. Hopefully they will take it back but still want another intake regardless. Anyone recommend and like me to a cheap intake?

you havea drill no? or autozne for longer hoses, no performance difference. assuming you can't get it worked out with the seller.

I have holes on each side, but I looped the vac lines to each side cuz they wouldn't directly reach, works fine.

also if you have fitting issues you can always chop chop your intake pipe to make room. if you make it straight you wont have the annoying humming noise =)

Sooooo... I got a new one.......

Well, I just got that BOMBZ Intake that C4PT41N_73TH47 suggested.

Verrrry short. As in, I had to twist the intake so the filter wouldn't hit the battery short. I was thinking of running the tube (the kinked one) to the other hole but run a new hose directly to the engine on the left. I would also have to run a new tube on the other side.

There is a kink problem too. I guess I'll switch the tubes around but the other won't reach which means I need a new, longer hose for there too.

My question is, how can I extend the pipping a little so the intake won't be twisted? 3" pipe + 3" intake/pipe cupping? And can I see pics of yours C4PT41N_73TH47? I need ideas fast because I replaced my window reg and am ready for a tint tomorrow.

I am so pissed already I'm not even going to argue.. But with my luck, even if I bought an AEM intake, they would have sent me the wrong one.
