u will need at least hand tools and a breaker bar. u will need leverage to get the bolts loose under the car. the ones up top in the head were easy. the 3 that hold the upper and lower pieces of the header together werent to bad. i would also spray up all the bolts with penetrating oil a couple hours before. also put anitsieze on all the bolts when u reinstall. i found that takin the oem stuff out was much easier than installin my dc. the hardest part is getting the downpipe on the stupid mount under the car. plan on a full day of work.

basically u got like 8-10 small nuts up top
3 holding the 2 pieces of the header
2 between the downpipe of header and rest of ur exuast system

i wouldn't say a full day, it only took me a few hours. its a very easy install you should have no problem with it.

thanks for the info. it sounds like a lot of work. my friend has a lift that we can use and we're pretty good at working on my car. but do u think its worth it to take it somewhere to be put in? cuz when i get my headers im also gonna get cam gears and pulleys at the same time and those have to be taken somewhere to be put in cuz the tuning and stuff. do u have any idea how much it would cost to have headers, cam gears and pulleys installed? some people told me its gonna be alot cuz they gotta take out the engine. any idea on how much would help me out. thanks

the engine doesnt need to come out for any of that. i installed the header and aem pullies myself. it seemed like u didnt have too much experience with takin ur car apart thats why i said a full day. but if i was u just make sure u got nothin else planned. sometimes shit happens. i thought i could drop my car in a day and both rear bolts sheared off. i eneded up cuttin the oem shocks off and birning out the old bushings. then had to wait 2 weeks for new bushings and bolts
