installed headers today

I put on my headers today. it only took about 2 1/2 hours. I got them off ebay from ssautochrome. they fit pretty well overall although the bottom support beam doesn't really agree with the downpipe. since there have been countless how-to's posted, i'll just say thank you to my 10yr old and my steel pipe/breaker bar.

here are a few shots

if i could all of it...the "acura" pieces that go on the heads, were broken when i got the car so they won't make it back...i'll eventually get around to putting the rest of them back on...i was just so happy to be done i didn't bother prettying back up the engine

remove that k brace that hits the header and give it a couple of whacks with a big as hammer right where it hits the header flex pipe. you have to hit it good cause its pretty strong.. or try torching that spot and vicing it. eather way you need to get it off the header or it will eat thru the flex pipe. i did mine vice/hammer it took 10 minutes..
