Thumbs up install fuel cut off switch?

hey everyone! ive searched around about this and couldnt find anything..

i recently purchased a 97 CL. ive read on the integra forums (former GSR owner) that they've installed fuel cut off switches in their cars and was wondering if anyone has done this to their CL and if you could let me know which wires to cut into.. thanks in advanced!!

Its great for added theft deterrent. Like, u cant start the car unless u flip a swith in the visor or something to that extent.

Because it cuts the signal that turns on the fuel pump.

Alarms stop the ignition froms starting, which can be easily bypassed.. i.e. popping the clutch.

Cutting it off at the pump is good because there isnt any fuel being fed to get the car started.

might be unessecary for a CL. unless you got some serious work done, i think the only need to steal our cars, is if somebody needs a shit load of parts or has serious work done. i know alot of paranoid integra and civic owners like yourself, with that mod. i wouldnt do it but i think it would be really cool if you pulled it off.

Damnit! Im going to research it and do it! Ill post my findings.. Also, our CL cars are at least 40% more likely to be stolen than other cars. Hehe, statistic compliments of carfax.com.

Yeah I might be more paranoid because my GSR was stolen 1 month ago. I did researched in the Honda realm and I liked the way the CL looked so now I have one

They wouldn't get away very fast, you could probably catch em on foot

Good idea, i'm interested in seeing if you can make it work

It works, You have to dig up a helms and find the *correct* wire to intall the switch. The CL's fuel pump can be accessed from the trunk behind the spare tire. Take a look at the color wires and go from there. This has been done countless times. I had it on my old prelude, but i'm not so worried about it on the CL. Goodluck - and remember, if your that paranoid, dont even tell your friends where your switch is.
