rsx s= 200 hp, 2.0 litre 4 cyl 0-60 low to mid 6's
gsr= 170 hp, 1.8 litre 4 cyl 0-60 7.1 sec
3.0 cl=200 hp, 3.0 litre 6 cyl 0-60 low to mid 7's
Your comaparison
All comes down to weight and their main advantage is the manual tranny.

forget numbers.. itz all about the driver... im running a stock 97 2.2... ive killed a 99 type-r, 96? 300zx twin turbo, and ive stayed with a 94 j-spec silvia. dont get me ive also gotten killed... a lot of races are won by driving skill.. (but a faster car always helps)

Race the RSX-S at highend on the freeway...You'll notice significantly different results.
Same with the GSR...I raced an older one...1st or 2nd gen that was on a 50 shot of nitrous and I won. Pulled on that bitch hard on the freeway.

RSX type S vs CL vs GSR
Well, I hate to say this but BOTH would beat a 3.0 cl. My Girlfriend used to have a gsr and we raced on several occasions and I lost. The integra was stolen and a 2002 RSX type s took its place. Well, that damn car beat me even more. The fact that the 3.0 cl weighs about 1000 pounds more might have something to do about it........I'm sure a new cls would spank both cars, but the 1st gen is basiclly sol.

even if the driver sucks, the car more than makes up for the sriver in the cases that you have listed. those cars are all mid 14's in the 1320. a CL will do mid 15's with bolt-ons if you're lucky.

they'd have to do poorly driving and you'd have to not fuck up somehow.. DONT GATESHIFT.. use D3 and then redline and shift do D4
i havent seen a CL race a RSX-- the CL-S can beat the RSX-S, i've seen videos of it..
i would guess the RSX would win in a quarter mile race by about .7 or .8 seconds maybe? that seems reasonable maybe a little less! :-/

i have a 2.3 cl with just intake and exhaust and I have raced two different friends, one with a gs-r and one with a rsx type-s. the gs-r has cold air intake and a muffler. the rsx-s has exhaust intake and headers. we all have raced each other at Qualcom, in the 1/8th. the rsx-s averages 10.1 the gs-r averages 10.3 and my 2.3 cl averages 10.6. I have beat them both a few times but only because i had a better launch. My car is quick off the line cause it's a single cam. I had both of them almost every race through first and half of second gear. then they start to pull.
