Illuminas + Neuspeed Race Springs = Bad Idea?
I bought a set of Tokico Illuminas off ebay, and now I'm trying to see what would be the best lowering springs to buy. I was thinking of H&R sports, but I have some Neuspeed race springs that I could buy locally and not have to wait for them to ship. Would the Illuminas be fine with a 2.2" drop? I wouldnt want to have them blow out and not be able to be replaced. IMO they should be fine, my old 280Z had ground control coilovers with Illuminas and it was lowered 4" but I just want to be sure.
BTW The CL stock has 3.5" of wheel gap in the front, and the Neuspeeds will drop it 2.2" in the front and 2" in the back but from what I've read on the Illuminas over these last couple months is that they will drop it another 1.5"... I could end up being too low, especially for Bay Area roads and around LA (moving). Plus I'm going to be autoxing the occasionally so I do need some wheel travel.
Oh yeah, I'm going to be using 16"s, most likely Rota Circuit8s (cheaper tires, lighter wheels).

For the price it'll cost you for the springs and shocks, just get adjustable height coilovers, you'll thank me later. That drop shouldn't be too low, but I got adjustable height so if I'm too low, I can raise up and down
