I would really get a "dr. evil tranny" but would i be able to boost 3.0? Cause once my tranny goes out for the 3rd time(hopefully no time soon) I would get the dr. evil tranny only if i would be able to boost my car! Would love to be the only 3.0 cl with boost.

yeah, no doubt. The J30's have handled boost without much problems (ala comptech supercharger and nitrous). The only limited factor is the tranny. The Dr. Evil Tranny is supposed to be good for up to 500 wheel horsepower which is more then you're going to need.

As for a custom turbo. Most of the cost is in the labor, so of course if you could do it on your own or have a knowledgable friend do it, you'll save alot on the cost.

To have a shop do it, a quality custom turbo kit will be in the 5,000 range.

yes we could boost it. I'm currently working on my mechanical engineering degree, and hopefully soon I'll be able to fabricate the necesary parts for a turbo for our 3.0's and try it out.
