I need help with my horn...PLEASE HELP

Can anyone tell me how to remove the cover from my steering wheel to get to the horn wires. When ever I lock my wheel to the right my horn works other than that it doesn't. Its very, very, very important for someone to help me.

thanks in advance

You'd be best off getting a repair manual that can explain it in detail, you want to be very careful because of the airbag, but if somebody on here has done it maybe they can explain it well enough... ask wilp99 if its covered in the Helm manual he has, i think thats the best manual you can get. I'd check for you but I dont have it yet lol.

I've posted this request 2x and your the 2nd person to say its difficult to do, due to the airbag... but I can't find the manual anywhere. Everytime I go to get a manual they never have it in stock. I need my horn bad or I will have to hook a air horn temp for awhile I guess. Thanks again to everyone that read the post though!

Heres a diagram of all the steering wheel parts..

http://www.acuraoemparts.com/delray/...All&vinsrch=no

its the best thing I can find, just from looking at that I would say your best bet is to try to unscrew the radio and cruise controls to see if theres anything behind them you can unscrew to take out the airbag, if theres nothing there, try to take the top plastic part off (part 12 in the diagram) although it looks to be one big piece there, i heard you can remove the top portion only by snapping it off becasue you need to do that to replace the guage cluster.. anyway whatever you do I suggest to not unplug the airbag lol, otherwise be careful with the wiring because of the airbag, as you can see its expensive to replace plus obviously dangerous if it deploys while you're working on it

oh yeah..

there are all the manuals, if you have a 3.0 I've heard the 3.0 shop supplement is the best manual you can get, and you dont really need the 2.3 manual to go with it, I see they also have electrical troubleshooting manuals, so check it out and good luck
