Im new to the board, but I had both my sensors replaced about a year ago for free. Goodson Acura in Irving, Texas mentioned that I had some exhaust warranty still in effect at 90K miles. Saved me a buck!

'A malfunction exists in the Heater Circuit for Oxyzen Sensor 2 (Located further downstream and are typically mounted in or after the catalytic converter) in Cyliner 1".
I didnt buy my car from Goodson, so I was wondering if you did? And how did you approach the dealership with the problem?
Thanks for the help.

wow this thread is back from the dead, it started it back in feburary
i would go take it to acura and see if they come up with the same code and it will run you a pretty penny to replace it, try ebay or sometihng like that to find a replacement
you can also try to see honda has the same part number available and they are always cheaper, for the same exact part

In Reponse To The Obd2 Question
OBD2 means ON BOARD DIAGNOSTIC VERSION 2 its what lets the automotive technician commucate with the computer and it helps him trace the problem there is a plug behind the ashtray that is the aldl link a tech plugs his scanner into it and is able to retrieve the trouble codes All cars after 1996 have OBD2 it was made to be universal so that only one tool is needed to check various cars instead of having one for each kind of make hope that clears it up

Emissions Warranty
JUST FYI.... Oxyzen Sensor is covered under Emissions Warranty at your local Acura Dealership. The warranty is 10 year or 150 thousand miles.
I recommend you taking the car to the dealership and see if you qualify for this warranty...it may save you some money to spend on mods
