OK this is the story. Goin to school this morring my battery light comes on...so i turn the car off and on again and now the battery and ABS lights on...(plus the engine light because i havnt got the EGR valve fixed yet) so anway...i make it to school and after school i called the dealer and they said it woudl prob just the battery and when its about to go out it flips on the ABS light too...so i make it home and turn it off and on again...it wont start...it was clicking (click click click click click) and all the dash lights and warning lights were flashin...so i changed my battery and now, (it starts fine, all the lights woudl and everyrything) but the battery and ABS light are still on! Plus the wierd thing is my check engine light turned off when it should be on because i havnt gotten the EGR valve fixed...I dont think my problem is the battery...i think i have electrical problems...PLEASE help me ASAP! Has this happend to anyone elce!?!

Tried a new alternator? You'll know in a couple of days if the new battery dies.

Why would you put your car in the shop. I have one question for you. Did your engine light come on around the time that you put your cold air intake on? That would explain why your engine light went off after your battery was reset. Also, charging your battery will not always do it, you may need a new one. That would explain why the battery and abs lights are on.

Superior Acura can blow me...god this sucks. I had a 3:30 appt to get a new alternater put in, they said they could get the car back to me by 6pm...so i have to jump my car to start it, im runnin on really no power, runnin only on the battery whic is goin fast. My needles were jumpin all over the place (said i was doin 120 when i was really goin 45mph) and i coudnt even turn on my blinker without loseing all power. Oh yea, and i didnt even have enough power goin to the fuel pumps...i was in D4 and it was reving like i was in N and then all the sudded it woudl kick in and i would burn out all that that crap...it was crazy. Well anyway, i finally made it to Superior Acura and they tell me they just put in the last alternater they had and i have to pay $30 to get another one shipped over night...that $30 ontop of the $210 alternater AND $150 labor!!! THIS SUCKS!! They can blow me! now i dont get my car for another 24 hrs!! Last time i go to them again. . . service sucks.

SUPERIOR BLOWS (Part 2)

So by now you all knwo they told me i could get it in at 3:30 and out by 6 on fri. Then they said they used the alternater that was saved for me so i have to wait until 2 on Sat PLUS pay shipping for another alternater. I Called sat so see then it would be ready and they told me between 1 03 2 pm...called at 1:30 pm to check up on it and they caid come in at 2:30...i get there at 2:30 and they said they wernt finished!! the truth, THEY NEVER EVEN STARTED ON MY CAR! The EGR valve hadnt been replaced, neither had the ignition, Oh yeah, and the Alternater, it was with all the other parts SITTING ONTOP OF MY CAR!!!!! My dad and i were SOOOOOO pissed. So, they offer to wave the $45 shipping alternater fee plus knock off 20% of the final price because of the screwup. So now im lookin at around $210 for the alternater and $100 in labor (thats with the 20% added in.) They said because im not 21 they coudlnt offer my a Acura car to drive temp but they could get my dad one, OR they COULD rent me a enterprise rent car that equaled $35 a day for 2 days. So my dad and i go to enterprise and they told us they coudnt rent us a car...lol..My dad got on the phone with the manager of superior and BITCHED him out...lol...so now their nockin off another $70 but in the long run, theve have my car 10 business hrs so far and havnt dont A DAMN THING! and now i dont get it until Mon after school....SUPERIOR CAN BLOW ME TWICE NOW!! PS: im goin to Jay W form now on...

I know your pain bro... dealers suck ass. i had my alternator die too. Died at night and I had to shut off all lights, no speedo or anything, but I had it amped up to 160 and no problems. I had a capacitor for my system too and it still got fawcked up. I am runnin a 1000w amp with no problems now

I'll tell ya one thing. Any of you that are in the KC - MO area, without a warranty like me, theres a group of guys you should go to when gettin work done on your Cl. The place is called Exact Performance in Merrium KS, across the HWY from Baron BMW...about 2 miles away from Superior Acura. Its 2 guys Ben and Forest who worked at Superior Lexus and Acura who spun off and started their own business for a hell of a lot cheaper. If your in the KC area and dont have a warranty, try them out...(they also install aftermarket parts which are cheeper too...plus anything modification wise you want done without all the "Acura dosnt allow that - bullshit"
