it's messed up. my other one did the same thing. changed the battery, nothing. openned it up and nothing was stuck. sorry

best things to do is throw it against the wall, then put a new battery in--- worked well for me

It is possible that the program is incorrect. try reprograming the emitter. there is a thread on here that tells how to do it. Something about get in, turn key to on, hold lock button, turn key off, repoeat on 4 second interval for two or three cycles, then get out and try it. Best with fresh battery.
