about how much is it to put a trubo into a cl? do they make superchargers?

 

Not sure about 1st Gens.

2nd Gens can have Superchargers made by Comptech. They're about 5 grand installed.

The V6 Accord supercharger will fit a 3.0CL with some mods. Same price as above, $5K installed. You might be able to pick up a slighty used one for $3K or so (maybe cheaper), then have someone install it (or do it yourself if you know how). Forget the warranty tho.

I've been looking at some dynos of some V6 Accord guys w/ the supercharger. Much better numbers than what Comptech has on their site. Makes me want one. Even for $3K tho, I'd seriously look at just swapping my car.

A custom setup for a 3.0 would prolly run you around 2k. The turbo or supercharging isn't the problem with these cars its the tranny. The guys at v6p.net are working on a upgraded tranny but it hasn't come out yet and no one knows if it will for sure handle the claimed hp. A turbo mite be harder to get tuned also and not as consistant as the s/c. Although a turbo would sound awsome spooling on a v6. If your planning on doing this i would look into swapping a cl-s 6sp into the car. One has been done successfully and is running the comptech s/c and has claimed to be dyoned at 300whp.

do you have a 2.2/3 or 3.0
if you have a 4 banger you can pick up used turbo kits for about 1500 ...that is what i paid for my first turbo kit for the stock f23 motor....istallation isnt that expensive maybe 2 or 300 ...or you could do it yourself
