check the power windows. roll them all the way down then all the way up again. drive it. make sure the tranny isnt slipping, stuttering, etc. check around the engine for excess oil buildup. thats all i can think of for right now. if there are no problems, id say around 6500-7500. just remember start low and work your way up. what is the guy asking.

I bought mine for $6100 for just the car. We brought it down from $6995 to $6100. Everything is fine besides the small bumper scratch. Everything working 114k miles. Try to get it to $6k and thats a hell of a good deal. But the lowest you should go maybe like $6500?

Too much money for a car that has transmission problems. Tell him you will give him that price if he gives you a 50K warranty on the trans or offer him $5500. The trans should start going now at this mileage.

You can't touch a 3.0 CL in Portland for anything near 6k. Sounds like a good deal.

I wonder if the tranny has been replaced at that mileage. Is there a way to check? Run a carfax and see how many people have owned it. Any history on the car?
