I'm researching stuff for my new system, but I was wondering how many speakers our cars have stock. I know it has two in the doors and rear decklid obviously, plus the tweeters. Are there any in the doors near the rear? I noticed when I have it turned up loud it kind of buzzes from the rear of the driver's door panel like there is a small speaker that is kind of blown out.


I'm pretty sure I have the premium sound system, the car is fully loaded with everything except seat heaters. The stock head unit looks the same as the Bose one, except it doesnt say Bose (maybe it rubbed off?).


What I was looking to get (off Crutchfield)
*Alpine CDA-9856 head unit ($199)
*Polk db6500 component system ($199)
*some other Polk speakers for the rear deck
*Blaupunkt "Bass Package": 2 channel car amp, 12" sub in sealed enclosure ($149)


edit: I would try to get it all installed under the stock grills if possible to make it look stock from the outside
