How to fix leather on my stearing wheel ?

The leather on top of my stearing wheel wore out!
I had holes where i always put my hands, i taped it up with electrical tape because everytime i turned it mabe the holes bigger.

what can i do besides buy a new one?
Can a shop rewrap my wheel?
could i get it done with something softer?
peroferated leather mabey?
my hands sweat on the wheel and it gets slippery as hell

thanks =)

I have a temporary leather wrap on my steering wheel (it's the color of my interior) until I can figure out what to do on a permanent basis.

Same problem happened with mine. So i tore the rest of the leather off, bingo, problem solved. No one can tell the difference. Except for picky CL owners of course.

if you want an easy and oem solution, do what the others told you and tear off the old leather.

then go here and scroll down to the leather steering wheel cover. This is made for the 98-00 Accord and it is the Honda replacement part, but out steering wheel is basically the same. This cover replaces the old one and is even stitched on like the old one. Not too shabby for 40 bucks.
