is it even possible with our front wheel cars? i tried it today but there no crazy screeching or anything. my friend showed me yesterday in his 240SX (rear wheel obviously) and that was pretty damn fun haha. well yea just curious. any tips?

burnouts are easy. manual or not. your handbrake will be able to support your car...... hold the brake all the way up and slowly press on gas........... hat should work, and if you feel that something is wrong, then release the handbrake.

it's pointless in our cars, especially at the track. just a waste of rubber, and extra driveline wear you dont need.

DONT use your handbrake in our car...For our cars for some reason it doesn't want to work...Either your pads suck and will slip grinding into the rotor even more or drag one part of your rear tires along the ground while your engine shakes because the fronts are trying to grip...
Only way that is the safest (not for everyday use though) is just to drop the clutch with worn tires...

actually, if you have good rear brakes you won't drag at all. And it is necessary at the track if you are running DR's.

BTW, that picture is before the nitrous when I had headers, no ebrake either.
The ebrake method will work if you have good rear pads that can hold your rear rotors stopped. The stock pads can't really do it but everyonce in awhile.
Also, burnouts aren't necessary unless you are running tires that need to be heated up, I even found out my shitty parada's benefit a good amount w/ a burnout before a race. But if you run DR's it's a must!
plus, they are fun as all hell

there is more to factor in than just ggod brakes. the way they are adjusted, weight, and width of the rear tires.

not really though, just some good aftermarket street pads should be able to hold them still
also, for some reason I spin both

burnouts are always usefull, they're phat. another good way to light'em up is to get about 6 of your friends to hold on to your car (open the windows and hold the pillars). This works WELL. At a show in carlisle we did it with an automatic Tauras in dry pavement. (it was a rental too)

Clracer, how exactlly does that work? Brake torque and just use the friends to help keep the car there, or ? I cant imagine 6 people being able to keep a car there straight from no throtlle without any brake hehe

burnouts on our cars are hardly ever useful unless you have DR's and they are less than impressive to look at.

The guys at NOPI Nats were begging me to do a burnout. I did a pretty good one with a neutral drop and ebrake. But there was a goddam Viper in front of me
Couldn't add up. . . but they still cheered
Burnouts are fun. . . I do 'em in my dad's Blazer all the time
