how to cut fenderwell?

ok, so I dropped my car a while ago and occasionally I'll hear the clunk of the upper contral arm hitting. Also when I got my car alilgned they had a BITCH of a time adjusting the balljoint camber kits because the fender well metal was in teh way.

how do I cut/shave it? just get a big metal file and elbow grease? Dremel?
help?

it could be the little rubber stud that is on the upper part of the upper arm if you cut part of it off it is to prevent you from bottoming out, if you cut it off to have more play room you will not hit it or should not i say

I grinded mine down and pounded out some parts with a sledge hammer. Make sure to spray whatever bare metal with paint to prevent rusting. I used truck bedliner paint.

lol, so you didn't just cut away at teh metel with the dremel or anything?

I would have thought it would just be easier to cut a little circle in teh metal where it hits. Guess not.

I used a 4" grinder with metal cutoff wheel. I have no plastic wheel liners.
