Its the fact that the Bugatti weighs a whopping 4100 lbs. Thats 1600 lbs more than a McLaren.
Not to mention the McLaren has no electronic nannies, no PS, no ABS or no TSC, lets the driver have complete control.
Plus a 24K gold engine compartment is just ness that cannot be touched.

I agree. I love that the Veyron is fast luxury instead of just a street legal race car.(although it's that too) The luxury options make it practical and fast, and do add weight. My point is that Mclaren gets the most performance out of the car. They made the most out of the V12 engine with work with weight reduction rather than dropping a gigantic engine in a really heavy car. Put a 1001 hp engine in the Mclaren and see what happens.
PS
Isn't the Mclaren engine compartment gold too???

actually it does 0-60 in 2.3.......that site rated it at 3secs because that's what their driver got. But in most mags, you'll see that it did it in 2.3...
I've seen the Mclaren in person, kinda eh....

News to me that Acura / Infinity etc are coming to Japan. I haven't been there in a few years so obviously my info is out of date. Thanks for the info.
