i got the worst mileage ive ever gotten with this car...27mpg, with 4 trips to philly and back (from NJ...not VA), and all city driving.

driving style is what matters most i think, and then what kind of driving you do
i went from 18mpg up to the highest mileage i've gotten, which is 29mpg
but i drive about 80-90% highway now, and i was driving barely any highway before
but great improvements can still be found, even just by reducing how much you accelerate, or coasting more to stops
...cuz 23 mpg on a 2.2 isn't too bad, but if that's the highest you've gotten, then that's not so good
