HKS Carbon Ti Exhaust?
I've been lookin around and have found an exhaust that I think will be right for me.
HKS Carbon Ti Muffler
http://www.hksusa.com/products/?id=1733
I'm thinking of getting the 170mm one and 2.95in. piping on my 97 2.2. I was wondering if you all had heard much, if anything, about this muffler and also would give me your thoughts on the possible new setup and/or other sugestions.
If you'll recall the other post I made a little while back, I got alot of comments about getting a new suspension rather than e/i/h, I've decided to wait on the coilovers and put some preformance stuff in it first.
The exhaust will come right after I get a AEM V2 intake in it.

that muffler is banging. that coming out at a slight angle would look amazing. but that piping is too big. let us know whats up if you eventually get it. pics would be awesome.

2.95 is the size of the pipe that comes out the back of the muffler, so I thought that I should continue that size all the way to the muffler. But since everyone seems to think it's too big what would be a better size, also what are the disadvantages of having pipe that big?

Also, this is sort of off topic but does the 97 2.2L have the f22 or d22 engine?

thanks. just a FYI, when their about to wield the metal piece to the Mounting Bracket around your exhaust can, make sure they cool it off with water or the heat will burn your C/F

I found a place to get it online for $270 at istoreparts.com.
Has anyone ever heard of or ordered from istoreparts.com? $270 is a hell of a deal for this muffler and I don't want to let it slip by. I'll probly order a V2 intake at the same time if this place is cool.

That's what I'm going to do once I decide to get rid of my muffler and go with
this HKS.

Anyways, all you need is a drop, and a lip kit to compliment that exhaust and
it'll look SUPER HOT!

Wow. I thought the tip opening was a lot bigger than that. THat looks GREAT. Absolutely clean, and not overdone. I love the blue (heat treated metal?) ring around the tip of the muffler.
